Guildford Cove Pump Station Improvements
Project Overview
Austin Water has designed improvements to the Guildford Cove Pump Station. Through the Guildford Cove Pump Station Improvements Project, we will install two new tanks to expand capacity and redundancy; replace and refurbish equipment; and replace valve vaults on Maury’s Trail and Bell Mountain.
One contractor is handling this project along with the Glenlake Pump Station Bypass Improvements Project and the Lookout Lane Pump Station Improvements Project.
For projects like this, Austin Water partners with Austin Capital Delivery Services (ACDS), and their project management staff will oversee construction.
Timeline
The contractor will be working on all three projects over a two-year period but not on all three at the same time. Work began in late fall of 2024. We estimate it will take about two years to complete all three projects.
