Austin Public Health offers health screening services so you can get tested for conditions like tuberculosis, sexually transmitted infections, and HIV/AIDS.

Sexually transmitted infections (STIs) and HIV

Austin Public Health's Sexual Health Clinic offers testing and treatment for many STIs and HIV. The standard tests are HIV, syphilis, gonorrhea, and chlamydia.

NOTE: We can only test for genital herpes if you have active symptoms.  

The Clinic is located at 15 Waller Street, Austin, TX 78702 (RBJ Public Health Center). Clinic hours are Monday - Friday, 8 a.m. - 12 p.m., and 1 - 5 p.m.

Testing and treatment costs $20.

Tuberculosis (TB)

The Austin Public Health Tuberculosis Clinic offers TB blood tests. The tests cost $20 and are only offered on Wednesdays. You must schedule an appointment to get tested.

The Clinic is located at 15 Waller Street, Austin, TX 78702 (RBJ Public Health Center, 1st Floor).

The Tuberculosis Clinic and Sexual Health Clinic are both located at the RBJ Public Health Center, 15 Waller Street, Austin, TX 78702.
