Project Overview

The Parker Lane Pipeline Renewal Project is part of Renewing Austin, a program to improve water infrastructure by replacing main lines that are aging and breaking. In this part of the project, Austin Water will replace about 2,600 feet of water pipelines and 715 feet of wastewater pipes, primarily along Metcalf and Catalina Drives.

This project began its design phase in November 2023 and is expected to take 36 to 48 months to complete. During construction, crews will cut open streets and install pipes in the ground. They will repave the streets impacted by construction once the project is complete.
