Before You Begin
- The FY 24-25 City of Austin budget includes this ACE fee schedule (PDF).
- Review the Event Planning Guide Overview and the ACE Guide: Submitting a Special Event Application (PDF) before you begin filling out the Special Event Application.
- If your preferred venue is a City of Austin park property, contact PARD staff at reservations@austintexas.gov before submitting an ACE application to verify that the space is available and appropriate.

Application Submission
Once an ACE application has been submitted, ACE staff will review it and designate it to one of four tiers.
Deadlines for final Approval or Denial of Application:
- Tier 1 = close of business, 1 business day before the event
- Tier 2 = 30 calendar days after the application is deemed complete
- Tier 3 and Tier 4 =
- Preliminary approval or denial of application is due within 10 business days of receiving the application
- Final approval or denial of application due 30 calendar days before the event
