Income and Rent Limits

All affordable housing programs have income eligibility requirements that ensure we are targeting assistance to Austin's moderate- and low-income residents and families. Income restrictions for many of these programs are set by state and federal guidelines. Each program has different eligibility requirements, so be sure to check the specific criteria of each program. Affordable Housing Online Search Tool (AHOST) 

Property managers must update information in AHOST so that income-restricted community members can find available units in their properties. This page includes a link at the bottom that a property manager can use to request an AHOST update via an online form. Request an AHOST update.
