Technical Code Interpretations
The Code Interpretation Library provides useful information on how the City interprets and applies certain regulations in the Land Development Code (Title 25 of the City Code), including site development and subdivision regulations, as well as technical (construction) codes. We are working on updating code interpretations and will post them to the Code Interpretation Library as they become available.
Request for Modification or Alternate Method of Compliance (AMOC)
You can schedule a Preliminary Plan Review Meeting if you want to confirm whether your Request for Modification or Alternate Method of Compliance (AMOC) (PDF) meets the requirements and is likely to be approved.
You may also submit the Request for Modification or Alternate Method of Compliance (AMOC) form (PDF) along with your application.
Once your project reaches the inspections phase, if an unforeseen condition is found that requires a modification or AMOC, contact the area supervisor before submitting a modification or AMOC request to discuss options.
