Approve an ordinance ordering an election to be held in the City of Austin on May 12, 2012 to elect the mayor and three council members.
Ordinance No. 20111007-001 was approved on Council Member Spelman's motion, Council Member Morrison's second on a 4-3 vote. Those voting aye were: Mayor Pro Tem Cole and Council Members Morrison, Spelman and Tovo, Those voting nay were: Mayor Leffingwell and Council Members Riley and Martinez.
