The City of Austin (City) seeks applications in response to this Request for Applications (RFA) from qualified nonprofit or government providers (Applicants) to provide Peer Support Services. Services will be provided to persons with substance use disorders or co-occurring mental health disorders that are clients of the Downtown Austin Community Court (DACC). Applicants should have background providing this peer-based service with the target population. Agencies with experience serving the target population that seek to create a new program, or that have a background providing Peer Support Services that could benefit the target population, are encouraged to apply. The proposed program shall target persons served by DACC, and referrals into the proposed program will come solely and directly from DACC staff.
