Affordable Parking Program

The Affordable Parking Program is a City of Austin and Downtown Austin Alliance initiative to reduce economic barriers to Austin community members accessing downtown. Austin service and entertainment industry employees who work downtown can access park options at affordable monthly rates, available as early as 3 p.m. and as late as 7 a.m. during the week, and for up to 24 hours on the weekend, depending on the garage. Limited spaces are available during the City of Austin’s business hours.

Affordable Parking Program Garages

City Hall Garage

• 301 W. Second St.
• Rate: $50 per pass per month
• Hours: 1:30 p.m. – 5 a.m. Mon. – Fri. and 6 a.m. – 5 a.m. Sat./Sun. (excluding holidays)
• Complete the application and email MobilityServices@austintexas.gov
• To submit their application fees, and to purchase their monthly parking pass, all applicants must contact our admin at: (512) 974-7857 to remit payment.
• Monthly payments for the City Hall garage can also be paid online by invoices sent from ABM Garage Management to the email address the participant provides on the application. Payment deadlines will remain the same; online invoices will become inactive for payment after the 7th of each month. If a monthly payment deadline is missed or a badge is deactivated, the participant must contact staff to remit payment.

One Texas Center Garage

• 505 Barton Springs Rd.
• Rate: $40 per pass per month
• Hours: 2 p.m. – 5 a.m. Mon. – Fri. and  6 a.m. – 5 a.m. Sat./Sun. (excluding holidays)

Waller Creek Center Garage

• 625 E. 10th St.
• Rate: $50 per pass per month
• Hours: 4:45 p.m. – 5:15 a.m. Mon. – Sun. (excluding holidays)
