On Wednesday, February 11, 2026, at 7:06 a.m., Austin Police (APD) officers responded to the intersection of Loyola Lane and Sendero Hills Parkway for a collision between two motor vehicles. One of the drivers, identified as Daisy Josephine Nuncio, was pronounced deceased on the scene. The driver and passengers of the second vehicle were transported to a local hospital and treated for minor injuries. The driver was not impaired and is cooperating with the investigation.

This incident is being investigated as Austin’s 11h fatal crash of 2026, resulting in 11 fatalities. On the date of this crash in 2025, five fatal crashes resulted in five deaths.
