Traffic Fatality in the 600 block of E Koenig Lane

On Sunday, January 4, 2026, at 2:20 a.m., Austin Police (APD) dispatch was notified of a single vehicle collision in the 600 block of E Koenig Lane. The driver was the only occupant in the vehicle. Austin-Travis County Emergency Medical Services (ATCEMS) responded to the scene to attempt life saving measures on the driver, later identified as Trent Michael Ulloa. Mr. Ulloa was pronounced deceased on scene.
 
This incident is being investigated as Austin’s 2nd fatal crash of 2026, resulting in 2 fatalities. On the date of this crash in 2025, there were no fatal crashes reported.
