APD Detectives Search for a Suspect in Connection to an Aggravated Assault

The Austin Police (APD) Aggravated Assault Unit is requesting the public's help in gathering information related to an Aggravated Assault with a Deadly Weapon that occurred on December 8, 2025, at approximately 2:16 p.m. The suspect followed the victim around the corner of the building, pulled out a knife, and stabbed the victim multiple times resulting in serious but not life-threating bodily injury.
The suspect is described as:
- Hispanic Male
- Spanish Speaker
- 40s
- Medium build
- Clean shaven
- He was last seen wearing a green shirt, black jacket, and blue jeans
- Known to frequent the area of 9717 N Lamar Boulevard
