Temporary suspension of Officer Ariel Crumes
Chief of Police Lisa Davis determined that Officer Crumes's acts violated Civil Service Commission Rule 10.03 and suspended her for ten days, from November 27, 2024, to December 6, 2024. An Internal Affairs investigation revealed that Officer Crumes violated Civil Service Rules and APD policy when she took photos while on the protection detail during a presidential visit. She later posted the photos to her personal social media account.
