Youth Recreation Therapies
Sprout into Success is a Recreation Therapy program designed by a Certified Therapeutic Recreation Specialist for children ages 6-11 and teens ages 12-16. Sessions are implemented in a group setting and are one hour in duration. The main goal of the program is to develop social skills with peers and improve fine and gross motor skills. Social skills sessions will focus on teaching individuals about their environment and build social connections that support problem-solving and creativity. Sprout Into Success also supports language development, life skills, friendships, and positive social peer interaction.
Certified Therapeutic Recreation Specialist staff will complete an assessment for all participants prior to the start of each program to develop goals and objectives specific to each individual’s needs. Please contact Hayleigh Soukup to register for the Sprout into Success program.
