Crime Prevention Services

According to the National Institute of Crime Prevention (NICP), crime prevention is the anticipation, recognition, and appraisal of a crime risk and the initiation of action to remove or reduce it. 

The Office of Community Liaison works closely with the District Representative officers to offer the following services:

• Neighborhood Watch – Learn how to create a neighborhood watch group and take a proactive approach to protecting your property and your neighborhood.
• Home Security Surveys – Learn how to make your property more secure.
• Business Security Survey – Learn how to make your business property less vulnerable.
