Through an agreement with Travis County, the City of Austin's Address Management Services section provides addressing services to unincorporated Travis County. Additionally, our office provides addressing services to most of the other municipalities within Travis County as well as the areas in Williamson, Hays and Bastrop counties where Austin has jurisdiction.
The Address Management Services staff is responsible for maintaining the street centerline and address point GIS data for the areas we provide addressing services to. Our addressing data is used by a number of enterprise applications throughout the City, including the One Stop Shop, utility billing system, 911, 311, Austin Resource Recovery, among others.
