At this time the City of Austin does not have funding to build eligible requests. To determine which requests should be funded first, each request is scored against 12 criteria. These criteria help to identify which of the requested streets have the more serious speeding conditions, more opportunities for vehicular/non-vehicular conflicts, the higher residential land use, a history of speed-related crashes and the greater community support. Each request is ordered according to its ranking for funding score. The top requests are funded until the budget for that funding cycle is expended.
