Join Austin Equity and Inclusion for free virtual Know Your Rights webinars happening until the month of November. Learn about your rights and recent updates on various topics related to immigration policy.

Upcoming Know Your Rights Sessions:

    Learn how immigration enforcement policies may impact students and families in educational settings. This session will cover students' rights, privacy protections, and available school-based resources. 

    Understand how recent changes in immigration policy and enforcement may affect refugees and humanitarian populations. Participants will learn about their rights, protections, and available support services.

    Learn about your constitutional rights during interactions with law enforcement and immigration officials. This session will provide practical information to help individuals and families prepare for and respond to enforcement encounters.

    Explore how immigration enforcement policies may affect access to healthcare and what rights individuals have when seeking medical care in Texas.

    Explore how immigration enforcement concerns can affect housing stability and access. Participants will learn about tenant rights, fair housing protections, and resources available to support immigrant households.

    Fall 2026 Citizenship Clinic: Apply for U.S. Citizenship

    Step 1: Attend an Information Session

    Attend one of four information sessions to:

    • Learn the requirements to apply for U.S. Citizenship.
    • Get your questions answered by immigration attorneys.
    • Get checklists of all documents and information needed to prepare for the Citizenship Clinic.

    • Date: Saturday, August 8, 2026
    • Time: 11:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m.

    Session 2: August 13
    • Date: Thursday, August 13, 2026
    • Time: 6:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m.

    Session 3: August 22
    • Date: Saturday, August 22, 2026

    Step 2: Attend the Citizenship Clinic

    • Date: September 12, 2026  
    • Time: 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. (registration closes at 11:30 a.m.)  
    • Location: Asian American Resource Center (AARC), 8401 Cameron Rd, Austin, TX 78754

    After attending an information session and confirming you are eligible to apply for U.S. Citizenship, attend the Citizenship Clinic. 

    • The first 50 people will get FREE one-on-one assistance completing the N-400 application for naturalization.
    • Bring documents and information you will need to complete the N-400 application.
