The Small and Minority Business Resources Department (SMBR) administers the Minority-Owned, Women-Owned, and Disadvantaged Business Enterprise Procurement Programs for the City of Austin. Our mission is to promote access and equity on City of Austin contracts, providing economic opportunity to small, minority-owned, women-owned, and disadvantaged businesses.
A Note About Operations
SMBR is operating in a teleworking environment. Staff will address questions and provide customer services through emails, phone calls, and select office hours. If you would like more information, please contact us via email at SMBR@austintexas.gov or phone at 512-974-7600.
