Attend or Tune in to a Council Meeting
Austin City Council meetings are held every other week on Thursdays (except for summer and holiday season months). Check the schedule of upcoming council meetings to stay up-to-date with the latest agendas.
Residents may attend an Austin City Council meeting to listen or to participate. There are opportunities at each council meeting for Citizen Participation.
- Residents may sign up to speak on specific items that are on the agenda.
- Time is set aside at noon at each meeting for Citizen Communication, where up to 10 people may speak on the topic of their choosing.
