- Chronic Disease Prevention and Control works to promote health and quality of life, and to prevent and control chronic disease.
- Diabetes Education and Prevention Classes offer free classes for diabetes education, prevention, and learning healthy lifestyles.
- Tobacco/Smoking Cessation and Prevention can provide free resources to help you quit tobacco for good or learn how to create more tobacco-free environments where you live, work, and play.
- Austin Moves! Walking Group Program is a free 6-week walking program that encourages physical activity, promotes self-empowerment, and creates social connections through walking with others
- Schools, Worksites, and Faith-based Community Wellness programs to promote nutrition, physical activity, and overall health and wellness at schools, worksites, and faith-based communities.

- Health Screening Services are provided for many communicable diseases.
- Hepatitis offers hepatitis immunizations and testing, perinatal Hepatitis B program, and Hepatitis C prevention.
- HIV/AIDS offers counseling, case management, education, and testing for those at high risk for contracting HIV.
- Sexually Transmitted (STD) Diseases provides counseling and testing, outreach and education, case management, and HIV Surveillance.
- Tuberculosis program provides evaluation of clients for latent and active TB disease.
- Immunizations offers immunization services for children (Shots for Tots) and some for adults ( Big Shots)
- Injury Prevention works with partners in the community to prevent unintentional injury with a focus on preventing motor vehicle injuries, drug overdose, falls prevention, drowning prevention, and promoting safe sleep for infants.
- Refugee Services provides a health screening clinic for refugees relocating to the Austin/Travis County area.
