ATXN is the City of Austin government access channel (formerly known as Channel 6). Programming includes City Council meetings, public meetings, news conferences, CityView news magazine and educational programming about City departments and initiatives.

Launched in early 1995 as one of the few municipal government sites in the U.S., Austin’s website has vastly grown from its initial 300 pages. The site provides the public an Internet portal to all City departments, services and government functions.
