Environmental Commission
About the Commission
Act in an advisory capacity on all projects and programs which affect the quality of life for the citizens of Austin and to make recommendations for standards and recommend and initiate specific studies. See Section 2-1-144 of the City Code for additional duties.
Per ordinance 20141211-204, the board was formerly known as the Environmental Board; the name was changed to Environmental Commission.
