Perform the duties prescribed for an HIV health services planning council.

The Housing Authority of the City of Austin is a public agency whose business is to ensure safe, quality affordable housing opportunities exist for families of low income.

Advise and consult with the city council on all matters involving racial, religious or ethnic discrimination and devise practices to promote equal opportunity.

Advising and assisting the City in adopting, reviewing and revising land use assumptions and related fees.

Empowered to divide the city into 10 geographical council districts for the election of council members.

Advise Council on a cohesive direction and perspective on cultural issues in Austin and to provide opportunities for collaboration and information sharing around the boards. See Section 2-1-203 of the City Code.

Advise the Council on issues pertaining to diversity and inclusion.

Advise Council on matters related to conservation and sustainability.

Develop recommendations for future regulatory controls and enforcement mechanisms on and relevant to Lake Austin to promote, preserve, and protect this critical public asset.
