Consider and make recommendations to the city council about the delivery of emergency medical services. Review the performance of EMS system from the perspective of each organization participating in the system.

The Austin/Travis County Public Health Commission was established October 13, 2022, and serves as an advisory body to the City Council and Travis County Commissioners Court concerning public health programs and other services.

The Board hears and decides requests for variance from the requirements of Chapter 25-2 (Zoning), except as otherwise provided by the Code.

The City Clerk is directed to form a task force of current board and commission members that will recommend a boards and commissions transition plan to Council by April 2014, with an update report in March 2014.

Identify and prioritize bond funding for projects that will address infrastructure needs, including but not limited to needs related to flooding, libraries, housing, mobility, transit, parks, fire stations and unfunded capital improvements.

The 2026 Bond Election Advisory Task Force identifies and prioritizes bond funding for projects that will address infrastructure needs necessary to implement a comprehensive climate program.

Ensure efficiency, equity, timeliness, and accountability in the implementation of existing and future City bond programs.

Review any appeal filed in accordance with Title 25 (Land Development). Hear and decide appeals of orders, decisions, or determinations made by the building official relating to the application and interpretations of the Building Code and Fire Code.

Established to hear cases concerning alleged violations of the City's housing and dangerous buildings regulations.
