A beer garden may be required for an event. If alcoholic beverages are to be sold and a temporary permit has been obtained from TABC, a beer garden must be erected within a separate closure area. It must be constructed as a chain-linked type fence that is at least 6 feet high and remain enclosed for the duration of the event, except for designated entrances and exits. Security guards and/or peace officers are required for every beer garden and the number will be determined by APD.
