General: What are the rules for signs?

Advertisement projections require a permit and are only permitted at large scale special events under specific circumstances. Building wraps are illegal. A non-projected special event sign may not exceed 96 sq. ft. and must be attached to a fence located at the boundaries of the event/venue or the wall of a legally permitted permanent or temporary structure included within the boundaries of the event/venue, with permission from the building or structure owner. The sign may advertise the special event or provide direction to activities occurring at the special event. Advertising of a business, person, activity, good, product, or service may not exceed 20% of the sign area.
