Read the Housing Department’s Fiscal Year 2024 Annual Report 

We published our Fiscal Year (FY) 2024 Annual Report, looking at the year’s efforts to expand affordable housing opportunities for low-income households, create income-restricted housing, bring more permanent supportive housing (PSH) units online, and connect the community to housing resources. 

I Belong in Austin – Rental Assistance Application Portal Closed April 7 at 5 p.m.

The I Belong in Austin  program provides tenant rental assistance to residents vulnerable to eviction. The application portal will open the first week of each month. If you or anyone you know is struggling to pay rent or is at risk of eviction, you can check your eligibility and apply for I Belong In Austin at www.austintexas.gov/rent.


Access Translation and Interpretation Services

The City of Austin is committed to compliance with the Americans with Disabilities Act. Reasonable modifications and equal access to communications will be provided upon request - including translation and interpretation services. For assistance, please contact the Housing Department at 512-974-3100. The City receives and accepts Video Relay Service (VRS) calls from people who are Deaf or hard of hearing through Relay Texas 7-1-1.
