City of Austin residents can call 3-1-1 to access City services and information, 24/7.  
 

City payday and auto loan complaints

If you're a payday or auto title loan borrower within the City of Austin limits and you believe the lender violates the Credit Access Business (CAB) ordinance, you can call 3-1-1 to make a complaint, or you can submit a complaint online. Learn more on the Payday and auto loan complaints page.
 

Texas consumer resources and protection

You can file a complaint with the Texas Office of the Attorney General against a business or individual. Complaints filed with the Consumer Protection Division are potentially an open record.  This means any member of the public may file an open records request and view your complaint.
