Ribbon Cutting Recap: Welcoming Half Moon Empanadas to AUS

We've got some pretty tasty news travelers! On January 29th, 2025, Half Moon Empanadas cut a pretty pink ribbon to officially celebrate their new partnership with Austin-Bergstrom International Airport (AUS). That’s right, the long-awaited void of not having a restaurant with hot food on the non-secure side of the terminal has finally been filled—and with a dough-light cuisine, at that.

Terry Mallum, Delaware North's Regional Manager, shared with gratitude, “Half Moon Empanadas is a great option for our meeters and greeters who are picking up friends, family, and colleagues arriving at AUS.”
