Open Government Partnership Meeting Notes and Reflections

The City of Austin launched its latest work under the Open Government Partnership (OGP) together with the Austin Community College’s Center for Government and Civic Service, community-based organizations and colleagues at the U.S. Open Government Secretariat on September 17th. In the weeks and months ahead, the Office of Innovation will be working to overlay a strategic foresight framework - adapted from the work of the Houston Foresight Program and collaborations with Alliance for Innovation - to ensure our OGP commitments are executed with multiple plausible futures in mind. 🚀

Next steps are to finalize our civil society partnerships based on the community feedback we received and co-create our action plans relating to our four commitments: 1) Anticipatory governance & climate; 2) Economic resilience & workforce; 3) AI & accountability; 4) Enhanced equity assessments tools.
