Austin’s November 2022 Electrify Expo included demo-rides of electric cars, e-motorcycles, e-bikes, e-scooters, e-skateboards and more. Interactive displays and chats with EV experts about charging offered a positive learning experience.
Austin Energy’s exhibit showcased Austin’s Fleet Mobility Services fully electric Ford Lightning F-150 pickup truck, where it was a huge hit. A fun and popular feature of the Lightning is the Frunk (front trunk). Fleet Mobility Services introduced the EV pickup into the City’s fleet in 2022.
