The City of Austin (City) seeks applications in response to this Request for Applications (RFA) from qualified nonprofit or government providers (Applicants) to provide Bridge Housing to clients of the Downtown Austin Community Court (DACC) Intensive Case Management (ICM) program. Bridge Housing is a hybrid of emergency shelter and transitional housing to serve the target population that requires short-term housing and supportive services to achieve self-sufficiency or to access available permanent housing options. Applicants should have background providing this temporary housing solution and/or working with the target population. Agencies with experience serving the target population that seek to create a new program, or that have a background providing Bridge Housing that could benefit the target population are encouraged to apply. The proposed program shall target individuals enrolled in the DACC’s ICM program and referrals into the proposed program will come solely and directly from DACC ICM staff.
