Renew a license

Vehicle immobilization licenses are valid for two (2) years. City Code requires that a renewal request be submitted no later than 60 days before the expiration of the operating authority. Please do not submit this request more than 90 days before the expiration of an operating authority.

If the permit is not renewed before expiration, the permit holder will have to submit an entirely new application and await a decision before relaunching their operations around the city.

To renew, fill out the Vehicle Immobilization Service License Renewal Application form (249 KB). Submit the form, supplemental documents, and payment by email, mail, or in-person by following the steps under “Apply for a license.”
