The Austin Police Department Robbery Unit is requesting the community’s assistance in identifying two suspects involved in an aggravated robbery that occurred on June 1, 2020 at 2:44 a.m. at the 7-Eleven located at 1822 Rutland Drive.
The two female suspects, pictured below, briefly entered then exited the store just prior to the robbery. The two women returned less than a minute later in the company of two additional female suspects and four male suspects. The four males, one of whom was armed, all went behind the counter and demanded money from the clerk while holding her at gunpoint. The other suspects looted the store.
Suspect 1 is described as:
- Black female
- Estimated to be between 19 and 25 years of age
- Medium skin tone
- Medium build
- Last seen wearing a grey or white tank top, short shorts, black tennis shoes with white soles and a cloth facemask
Suspect 2 is described as:
- Black female
- Estimated to be between 19 and 25 years of age
- Light skin tone
- Long hair (possibly extensions)
- Heavy build
- Last seen wearing a bright green long sleeve undershirt with t-shirt layered over it and black pants
