The Morrow and Gault Water and Wastewater Renewal Project is part of Austin Water's efforts to replace and upgrade aging wastewater and water lines. Inspection of wastewater lines in the area show that lines are reaching the end of their useful life.
The project will replace about 16,089 linear feet of wastewater lines and 2,152 linear feet of water lines. Austin Water partners with the Public Works Department whose project management staff supervises construction.
Timeline
The project is expected take about 24 months to complete. Construction will begin May 2021.
