The Austin Police Department (APD) is requesting the public’s assistance with identifying a suspect in connection to a case of mail theft that occurred at 308 ½ West Avenue on Thursday, January 23, 2025, at approximately 2:03 p.m. 

The suspect, whose photos and description are included below, stole parcel mail from the front door of a resident of the apartment complex. The theft was captured on the resident’s doorbell camera. The female he was with did not appear to be part of the theft, however, identifying her could lead to the identification of the male.

The suspect is described as:  

• White male
• Tall
• Thin

The suspect was last seen wearing:  

• Bootcut blue jeans
• Red Converse tennis shoes
• Black “Circle the Drain” hoodie from the band “Wage War” – shown below
