The Austin Police Department (APD) Highway Enforcement unit is requesting the public’s assistance with identifying a suspect in connection to a hit and run crash that occurred on Saturday, November 9, 2024, at approximately 1:35 p.m. The incident happened in the 8500 block of Research Boulevard SVRD NB.
 
The suspect was driving the suspect vehicle when he was involved in a crash with the victim's vehicle. The suspect did not stop to render aid or call 9-1-1. The victim suffered minor injuries. The suspect left the scene immediately after the crash.
 
The suspect is described as:

• Hispanic male
• Average build
• Medium length hair

The suspect vehicle is described as:

• GMC Truck
• Two-door
• White in color
• White sticker in the rear window
• Truck might have damage in the front as a result of the crash
