AUSTIN, Texas – Today, Frontier Airlines announced an expansion of their presence at Austin-Bergstrom International Airport (AUS) with four new nonstop flights scheduled to service Central Texas travelers starting in March 2025. Frontier will add to its existing AUS nonstop flights with new service to Orlando (MCO), Chicago (ORD), Cincinnati (CVG) and Phoenix (PHX).
With these new routes, Frontier will serve eight destinations from AUS with its all-Airbus fleet of aircraft. To celebrate, the airline is offering fares as low as $49* to Discount Den members, available at FlyFrontier.com.
“It’s fantastic to see our partners at Frontier expand their offerings to AUS customers,” said Ghizlane Badawi, AUS CEO. “Providing ultra low-cost nonstop flights to our community plays an important role in giving options to travelers and making air travel accessible for Central Texans.”

Frontier Airlines operates from the AUS south terminal facility, which is separate from the main Barbara Jordan Terminal. Leading up to the closure of the facility in early 2026 to make way for new midfield taxiways, Frontier and Allegiant will relocate operations to the main Barbara Jordan Terminal. AUS looks forward to providing all AUS customers with a comfortable and safe airport journey that provides an authentic Austin and Central Texas experience to all travelers, no matter which airline they fly.

About Journey With AUS
Journey With AUS is the Austin-Bergstrom Airport Expansion and Development Program. The program is a strategic, phased approach to guiding construction and improvement projects, including select 2040 Master Plan projects, at AUS over the next several years. Journey With AUS projects will improve the passenger experience and meet the rising demand for air service at AUS in three phases; optimizing the Barbara Jordan Terminal through improvements that accommodate forecasted demand and enhance operations; expanding infrastructure to increase gates; constructing a new midfield concourse, and connecting tunnel. Driving regional economic recovery and supporting Austin’s growth is a primary goal of the program. The program will create jobs and provide opportunities for local businesses and the Minority-owned (MBE) and Woman-owned businesses (WBE) in the contracting community.
