Austin Police Department (APD) is requesting the public’s help in locating 24-year-old, Juan Antonio Vazquez Jr. He is suspected in multiple theft and forgery cases. The cases span from September of 2022 to June 2024.
 
Mr. Vazquez, whose photo and description are included below, is suspected of scamming individuals through on-line property rentals. He advertises rental property (which he does not own), takes cash for deposits and rent, and when the (victim) new tenant arrives to move in, they realize they have no rights to the property.
 
Mr. Vazquez is described as:

• White male
• 24 years of age
• 6’2” tall
• 200 lbs.
• Tattoo on chest and a tattoo on left arm.
