The Austin Police Department (APD) patrol officers will be out enforcing traffic laws and targeting motorists that are driving aggressively, speeding, and other hazardous violations. The initiative will be in effect until further notice with a focus in the area of Ranch Road 2222 between MoPac Expressway and 360.
 
The operation is an effort to maintain public safety after the Department received multiple complaints from neighbors in the area regarding motorcyclists speeding and engaging in other reckless driving.
