Austin Parks and Recreation Wins Communications Award

Austin Parks and Recreation Department won 2nd Place in NAGC Blue Pencil and Gold Screen Awards for Public Affairs - Outreach Campaign

The National Association of Government Communicators (NAGC) recognized 100 winners across 33 categories during the 2024 Blue Pencil and Gold Screen Awards on May 22, 2024 in New Orleans. 

The City of Austin Parks and Recreation Department won 2nd Place in NAGC Blue Pencil and Gold Screen Awards for Public Affairs - Outreach Campaign: A Celebration of Life for a Tree Named Flo.

This annual international awards program recognizes outstanding communications products and the talented individuals who create them, highlighting their hard work and commitment to excellence in government communication.
