The Austin Police Department (APD) Highway Enforcement Investigations unit requests the public’s help in locating a suspect in connection to a hit-and-run crash that occurred on Sunday, September 24, 2023, at approximately 7 p.m. The crash happened at the intersection of Ohlen Road and Research Boulevard Service Road Southbound lanes. The crash resulted with an elderly victim suffering serious injuries.
 
Detectives have identified a person of interest who may have information regarding the incident.
 
The person of interest has been identified as Nilson Isaac Perez Gomez. He is described as:

• Hispanic male
• Approximately in his 20s years of age
• Approximately 160lbs
