On Monday, February 26, 2024 at approximately 2:38 a.m., Austin Police Department (APD) officers along with Austin-Travis County Emergency Medical Services and the Austin Fire Department responded to a crash involving a vehicle and a pedestrian in the 2900 block of East Parmer Lane.
A preliminary investigation revealed the driver of a white two door pickup (photos attached) hit a pedestrian who was in the roadway and then left the scene without rendering aid. The pedestrian suffered serious bodily injuries and is currently still hospitalized in stable condition.
The suspect vehicle is described as:
- Pickup truck
- Two-door
- White in color
