The Austin Police Department (APD) Robbery Unit is requesting the public's assistance with identifying a suspect involved in a Robbery by Threat case that occurred inside the CVS located at 4405 E Riverside Drive. The incident happened on Tuesday, February 13, 2024, at approximately 6:00 p.m.
 
The suspect, whose description and photos are included, entered the store and began shoplifting items inside the CVS. An employee asked the suspect to leave the premises, but the suspect took a hammer from a shelf and threatened the employee with it.
 
 
Suspect described as:

• Hispanic Male
• Approximately 50 years of age
• Thin to medium build
• Black hair
• Mustache and goatee
• He was last seen wearing a white and blue ball cap, a dark hooded sweatshirt, red basketball shorts, calf length black socks with orange design around upper part of socks, and black sandals or shoes.
