The Austin Police Department (APD) is requesting the public’s assistance with a identifying a man suspected of shoplifting merchandise at the Sprouts located at 1201 Barbara Jordan Boulevard. The incident occurred on Tuesday, January 2, 2024.
 
The man, whose photo and description are included in this release, grabbed several items and left the store without paying for the merchandise. The suspect then left the area in an older Honda Accord that was driven by another man.


The suspect was described as:

• Middle Eastern
• Mid 30’s
• Thin build
• He was last seen wearing a Buck’s Jersey underneath his jacket
• The suspect may frequent the IH 35 and Rundberg area

The suspect vehicle is described as:

• Honda Accord
• 2005
• Silver
