NOTICE OF COMPLAINT
March 3, 2023
ICMS #: 2023-0169
On February 28, 2023, the OPO received an in person complaint.
The complainant alleges: The complainant came to OPO dissatisfied that he was
contacted by a staff sergeant following his last complaint. The complaint form states the
following:
"Made IA request. Contacted by shift Sgt supervisor of officer that subject of complaint.
CONFLICT"
The complainant also states that APD is at the
but it is out of their jurisdiction.
Please refer to the complaint recording for more information.
The complainant emailed OPO:
I made a traffic stop at the
.
The subject had strong armed
rapist charge on his TCIC rip. Due to the fact he had two teenage girls in the car with him,
I requested APD help. They never came. Before you get panties twisted in a wad it
happened long ago.
I sanitized the TCIC rip just in case the girls wound up as fishing bait. I have it to date.
Instead of APD responding I was ordered to issue verbal warning and release individual
with strong arm rape charge on his rip. I still have it as souvenir.
This is part of the APD I know. Sad, pathetic and overmatched
This notice of complaint is a request for Internal Affairs to initiate an investigation to
determine if the employee conduct is within compliance of APD policy, Civil Service
Rules, and Municipal Civil Service Rules.
