On February 21, 2023, the OPO received an email complaint.
The complainant alleges: Resident is submitting a complaint against APD's response to
a crime committed against him. Resident's vehicle was burglarized on

states 911 has been notified of multiple break-ins at his property and will not deal with the
issue. He also states 311 should have contacted him within 12 hours per the stated SLA,
but has not contacted in over a week. He believes APD is "quiet-quitting" due to a "ballot
measure that requires rudimentary yet inadequate civilian oversight." Resident adds, "They
are not doing their job despite having more funding than ever."
This notice of complaint is a request for Internal Affairs to initiate an investigation to
determine if the employee conduct is within compliance of APD policy, Civil Service
Rules, and Municipal Civil Service Rules.
