emergency detention. When I woke up in the hospital I was forced into a restraint chair
when looking for a bathroom and my shoulder cut open with a drugged blade. I had sought

I was given used toiletries, given wrong phone numbers for my mental health providers,
family denied visitation, not allowed to see a doctor for days, and a nurse hung up the
phone when I tried to call 911. We weren't even given books to read or given outside time.

I never saw a judge and was sent a bill. I was there for
5 days. I was given drugs without being informed on what any were.
