NOTICE OF COMPLAINT
February 3, 2023
ICMS #: 2023-0089
On February 3, 2023, the OPO received an email complaint.
The complainant alleges: I have stage 4 liver disease and generalized anxiety and the last
thing I need is to be further traumatized by a bunch of tattoo covered good old boys that
never learned how to listen past the sound of a bomb going off in Afganistan.
If I lose my phone and am lost and just need some guidance home and maybe water, I will
never again flag down any APD, especially
,
officer again simply
because I don't have thousands of dollars to spend on officer hunches about my mental
state. I also don't have time to explain trauma or liver disease to people that never studied
psychology and clearly don't know how to show respect to physically disabled people like
me.
Furthermore, my car was in perfect shape before after just having it fixed and it ended up
vandalized under their care. I don't find be this even mildly amusing as my car is my way
of coping with how hard it is to be your own hero and still be heroic to others. It's a super
hero car besides.
Do you guys even have PR people anymore? Sensitivity training? Drug testing? Psych
evaluation? Post war trauma counseling?
I should sue this whole city at this point. But I'm not that kind of douchebag, Perhaps, y'all
could thin out the blue line again and make sure not to turn it into tire tracks over my
constitutional rights.
This notice of complaint is a request for Internal Affairs to initiate an investigation to
determine if the employee conduct is within compliance of APD policy, Civil Service
Rules, and Municipal Civil Service Rules.
